S.E.R. (sustainable evolutive residence) The project starts from the thought of what the human being life cycle is, and the neef of resolving the subject housing/shelter in a global way. This house has been thought to serve a great number of users, since the possibility to build it based on a simple family structure and making it evolve to self-construction. Quality of the inhabitable space, eco(nomic) and resistant materials, solar orientation study, natural air circulation, use of rain water, all these items are priority themes for each climate and latitude. The house engine is the only irregular volume, and it contains the kitchen and the bathrooms. This volume is the organizer of the house structure, and it as the following tasks: distribute energy and hot water, collect the rain water, and coordenate the natural air stream through the chimney effect. The accessory volumes (rooms and living rooms) arrange itself alternatly creating patios, in a way to get better solar exposition and take advantage of passive irradiation. The constructice system must be simple and fit into a container: in order to be carried to all the different places; to expand an existing SER construction; to carry the house into a different location; to dismantle the house, recycling all its components.
